Well, it has been quite a while since I logged on. To tell the truth, I completely forgot about this site. But I am going to use it to write a story...please everything here is my work and no one else's.

It is now 2012. I have changed jobs, wrecked my car, painted the apartment and traveled to my daughters graduation in 2011. I have no idea where the days and weeks went. I feel like I need to do better at checking in with friends. I don't think the world is going to e n d on December 12, 2012 but I have a feeling this year will mark the beginning of SOMETHING better. I feel like I live for the summer so I can see my brother and his children. I hope to see my other half-brothers this summer also- since I am the poor sibling, they will have to travel to see us here in Maine. I just hope my Dad stays with us so he can see them too.

Invisible Connections

It is a new year. Usually there are tons of people full of optimism wishing everyone wellness and happiness...my wish is to not go downhill any more... for myself and for the country. We are such a mish-mash-mix up of different people its a wonder we haven't fallen apart at the seems. But there are ties that bind and there must be enough families and people spread out across the land who are determined to remain connected. We are bound together with invisible threads of light. Doesn't that count for something? what does it mean? I hope it is the dawing of the age of Aquarius and Knowledge otherwise, we run the risk of loosing our country- really.

I think the Darling girls are figuring out the world- it is quite logical thinking. But to further confuse the topic- the clothing made by Tommy Hilfilgar is very popular with a certain age of girl- and it is very much a 'male' style- bright white, red and blue clothing and their ads say you are a Tommy-girl if you wear it. SO who knows- maybe DD1 and 2 have coined a new phrase!!!

We have wild turkeys here also. WHen I see them I frantically try to get out my phone to take a picture but the turkeys sneak off.
WHen I don't get my camera phone, they sit in the road and ignore me.
they are funny creatures.

I first knew about Jonesport, Maine when my Dad talked about it- he spent his summers there as a kid.
